BF2 stats carried over to BF2:SF?

Heeeey guys, first post!

Anyway, sorry if this question was covered somewhere else before, but uhmm..

anybody have any guesses as to if your bf2 stats / awards / unlocks would carry over to the expansion?

i mean.. ewww.. it'd suck to be a private again :cry:

From what I understand there will be different ranks/awards available. They will probably run parrallel to your current ones rather than instead of them if that makes sense...

If they don't carry over than it's little use calling it an expansion.
