Should I get a new video card?

    Here's my setup right now:

    AMD 3400 64
    ATI 9800 Pro 256
    1.5 gigs of ram
    Seagate SATA 120 gig hd
    Soundblaster Audigy.

I'm going back and forth on whether or not I should get a new video card. I get pretty good performance on doom 3, half life, and BF2. I'm looking at a BFG 6800 GT. I guess I'm wondering if a new card will dramatically improve how games look, or if I should wait another year or two.

    - will they still have agp cards in a year or two?
    - will the unreal 3 engine and any other new game engines run good on a 6800 GT?

    Thanks for any replies.

u dont need a new processor, u have enough ram, another 512 would give u 2 gb, which is good, but not necessary. i dont know about the vid card, i would say get a 6600 gt 128 mb. if not a 66600gt, then get a 6800gt 256 mb.

You said you get pretty good performance. If it is good enough for you then you have no reason to get another videocard. Buy another 512 Mb of RAM instead.
