Battlefield comunity is ruined since BF2 came out... Great game but too many new ppl to the game that came from games with no vehicles,

lets make this clear, everyone says stuff about "take tanks and apc's away because of whores" "take planes away beacuse of whores" "take helis away because of whores".... this stuff is really getting stupid... dont u ppl remember what game you are playing? i'll give u a hint (its not counter strike).

if dice made all the changes to the game that alot of ppl wanted this is what we would get:

-Only city maps
-no vehicles
-only playing in team and no lone wolves wich do alot of great work in my oppinion(friggin hell bf1942 had no squads and i saw alot better teamwork there than in bf2)

now with these features what game would u get? i'll give u a hint (its counter strike)

so ppl instead of saying stupid things against vehicles, why dont you just leave BF2 for once and go play something else that suits you better huh?

i'm not much of a vehicle player but i also wasnt in bf1942 and vietnam aswell, but i like to use them sometimes and they give an amazing feeling to the game, i just think alot of ppl in the currently playing bf2 are in the wrong game.

Man this game would be dull without tanks and such,this is what makes the game so good,if i wanted to just run around and shoot infantry i would have stuck with sumthin lame like moh or cs,which are utter suckage tbh compared to bf2!

This game owns as it is, apart from a few bugs that are still hanging about,so yes i totaly agree KEEP THE VEHICLES!

The BF series is all about the vehical, infantry experience. I rarley use vehicals but I always score high. People that say that vehicals are to strong just have not learned how to play yet. They are the same people that shoot at tanks with there hand guns while hiding in the bushes :) You know who you are :P

They are right to complain, vehicles in BF2 are much, much more powerfull then in bf1942, and besides the helicopters, battlefield vietnam as well. I didnt see anyone in BF1942/BF:V get a score in a PanzerIV/Sheridan of 100+. and in bf1942, only the best of the best could approuch such a score in a plane.

Came from playing UT2k4 and I gotta say, the vehicles are kinda underpowered in BF2. *leviathan*

Only thing I'd take out is the choppers,they're a pain in the behind and there is no real way to take an attack helicopter out.
Before all the fanboys start moaning about use AA, it doesn't hardly work !!!!!!:laugh:

Helicopters are weak.

If you see a helicopter, park your jeep in a covered position, and apply .50

If they flee, they might get away, if they try to get you on a second strafe, they are dead.

thats why no excuses to remove vehicles are valid in this subject and its why they make no sense.

and playing as engineer since BF series came out its rare to see a tank that i dont kill when crosses my way hehe

in bf192 i played allways as engineer and i just loved the bolt action rifles, bf2 came out, do u see me saying stuff like "TAKE THE SHOTGUNS AWAY"? Of course not, cause i adapted my gameplay to the shotgun and its fun as hell to plow up someone with a shotgun shot

Of course it wouldnt be battlefield, and removing vehicles would be simply rediculous, and turn it into a crap game. However the new path Dice has taken with vehicles ruling everything with relative ease, is not something i apriciate at all. I wont adapt, ill continue to hate those HE apc shells (lol, apc, like its usually used for that), and BH's ability to absorb hit after hit untill the mods come out, then you wont hear me anymore

I just with the vehicles where more like the real ones, and dident juts blowup on impact, so dumb.
