Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
I'm just interested to know what everyone here would class as the 'perfect' BF2 squad. Simply post the number of people, what kit they'd use and what their main role would be.
I'll post mine up when we get some (if any  ) replies
all meds, the squad is almost unstoppable if they all stay together. Who but another full squad can take on 5 meds. If some armour comes you just hide and run away. any guys die in your squad thet rest can revive and your whole team should thank you cause your ticket loss for that squad would be minimal
Id have to say a squad that works well together and looks after each other dosnt matter about the class they play just aslong as they work together and work clever. Ive been into many squads were there is no teamwork so im just very happy when you do get that.
1 sniper
1 bomber pilot / any kit
1 Spec Op
1 Medic
1 Support (optional)
Any of the last 3 can be SL
The technique is a bit complicated and requires some outside-the-box tactics... and sometimes depends on the map. I won't go too much into detail, because it works well enough for me not to share =)
basically one of every kit excluding sniper because snipers shoiuldnt be in squads
That simply isn't true. A good sniper from a good position can spot enemies for the rest of the team and his squad. Plus, if the squad leader is a sniper, he can remain hidden easier and have the rest of the team spawn on him in an zone that has a large enemy presence.
Back to the topic at hand, my squad set-up:
-2 Spec-op/Assault (switch the classes out as you please)
-1 Support
-1 Anti-tank
-1 Medic
-1 Engineer/Sniper
If you're a squad leader, make it a point to tell your guys what to spawn as if you need a specific class for a specific situation (i.e. you're hiding from a tank, a sniper has you pinned down, etc). The engineer or sniper is kinda optional, considering that either has the least amount of use in a squad. If you do have a sniper, make sure he seperates from the squad and finds a good spot to both cover the squad from other snipers and approaching enemies and identify threats to them. If the squad leader has a vehicle, spawn as an engineer rather than a sniper and be ready to disarm mines and repair the vehicle.
Have one of the medics as squad leader.
And have sniper a bit behind or covering from a building or hill but he doesn't need to be in the squad, he can be the commander.
