it should have , but on the other hand it should suck vs. a tank .

the BMP3 should be very efective vs. Helos (it´s weapons were designed to compensate for US/NATO helo superiority )

Are there any new maps ? I will get it I wouldnt be surprised if they dont add some new awards to, I just hope they test the Beta version fully & dont **** it up like they did with BF2 v1.00.

8 new maps , including Night Maps
"8 new maps –strategic locations featuring expanded indoor play "
"Generalized Triggering System used to control key elements of the environment "

so you get to open doors , move hangar doors , bridges and cranes whatever , sound promising

Are we still going to have all of the maps we have now?

Let's not forget a truck that is ALREADY in Battlefield 2, just with an incomplete HUD. Slap another vehicle's HUD code onto it, and you're good to go. Addtemplate another PCO with a coaxial machinegun to it, and wow, you have the SF truck. A lot of work they did there.

And from looking at the ziplines, I might just try to make one of these myself. From what I can tell, it's like entering a vehicle that's got a set direction (the one you fire in) that you can travel down, and the zipline is there just for looks. Hop in, and the thing moves.

Loving the SAS models, Guess that hour and a half watching Who Dares Wins payed off for the "consultants" at Dice, it told them everything they needed to "know"

Also loving the weapons selection, two sets of two weapons which are the same, with slight variations, that's almost as good as the addition of four weapons in Road To Rome, two of which were bayonets, which I shelled out £20 for.

If I buy this pack it will be because somebody knocked me out, jacked my credit cards and brought it.

I hope the rebels get Ak47 and PKM instead of same weapon as MEC, cuz AK47 and PKM are standard weapons of rebellion/insurgency.

Thats BS, alot of normal armies use the AK47 as well.

from what I have seen, it will bring new awards and ranks, new equipment, new maps, new vehicles and new armies. Now one thing you all have to realize is...most likely just like all the other bf2 series games, at least the ones i have played, I bet you a 100-1 that all the nice new cool stuff will only be able to be used on the new maps! I might be wrong...and I hope I am but I remember that is how it was in bf1942 road to rome...so...about whether I will get it or not? Probably yea I will, I think the game is horribly buggy with the AA deciding to chase the fly buzzing around my head instead of the chopper hovering above me, the name glitch problem, rank problems, the known cheats/hacks which no attempt to fix has been made since the demo days...all this...its still a fun game to play and goof around in...so...20 bucks isn't so bad to get new maps and stuff to blow up my friends with :p

were paying for a mod guys. what makes EA's mod so special over the other 15 mods in
development that we have to pay for it?
I was highly disappointed to find the every army has the same exact weapons until they get unlocks. What about the HIND?!?!? The Hind is like an Apache and a blackhawk in one, it can hold an additional 8 troops I believe. If it doesn't hold more players then the 2 pilots in the game I'll be p*ssed. But all in all they seem to have done the Russian army justice. The HIND and BMP3 will surly put US in a nervous state of stress.

MY biggest beef is how the game will be integrated into BF2.
People who have servers, when choosing the maps they want on there, The Special Forces maps better be there too. IN a server you should be able to have 1 map be Oman then the next map from BF: special forces, then next map from original BF2 again. IF its like two different programs and one server can only run Special forces maps and not BF2 and special forces maps together, I'll shoot someone at both EA and DICE.
