  • Friend's list?

I'm relatively new to BF2 and just discovered this site and was wondering if there is something like a Friend's List in this game? I would like to be able to see the games my friends/dependable teammates are in so i can play with them more than just one session. I don't mean clans or specific servers but the actual player. Any help?

There's nothing in the game that I know of. This works, though

Create a buddy list, log in with your game name and then start adding people

Enter in the exact name of your friends (capitalization important) and it'll show their game-monitor.com sigs. Simple interface, but an easy way to see which of your buddies are online, and where they are at.

No registration/etc needed. I'd suggest making your username something unique, because somebody else can access your buddy list and modify it as long as they know the username you use on the page (the BF2 buddy list username does not need to be your BF2 name, it can be anything.)

              Re: Friend's list?

I'm constantly suprised that with all the complaining about this game that the lack of an in-game buddy list doesn't come up more often.

This has to be one of the biggest issues that makes BF2 "buddy unfriendly".

I can't think of a single serious FPS that's been released in the last 4 years that didn't come with a way to find your pals playing on-line.

                  URG!

MSN tends to play hell with my BF2. Great way to crash it when you forget to close it down.

Yeah... but it's something that I've had to resort to.
                      Sore spot.
                      Gr.

Hehe, you wanna see things get seriously messed?
Try leaving a voice chat in MSN on, open Vent, then log onto a BF2 server runnin voice coms!
Yeah, I had had a couple at that point.
