Driver ability points: how?

So how do you get them. Is it time related when you have passengers or st else????

looks likeICPO has alrady answered it. Its when you use aspecial skill as adriver, say heal/resupply etc. Thankz ICPO.

Actually, I don't think that's the case. It's when your passengers (medic/support/engineer) either get a heal/resupply/repair point while inside the vehicle. I definitely know this is one case because I once had an engineer inside my APC and when I stopped next to a damaged arti cannon, when he got the repair pt, I got the driver abilitiy pt.

I've heard others also say you get a point for avoiding enemy fire with passengers inside. Not sure about this though.

Stop me if I'm wrong but you also get points when your passengers kill enemies.

I got mine last night as a missile aimer in a MEC jet the best advice is find your self a **** hot pilot who knows what hes doing & let them do the hard work.

Nooooo... How exactly does the game register that u have avoided enemy fire?

So ok maybe it's for driving around with ppl without getting your vehicle damaged.

But i still think it would be more logical to get Driver kill assist when ppl in the same vehicle kill something and Driver special ability
when ppl in the same vehicle use their special abilities
