Hello everyone, I've searched and searched, but I can't find a solution to my problem, so here it goes:
When I play BF2 everything works normally for like 10secs and then my keys start to stick, I run forward and let the key go, but I just keep on running forward. And that sticking just appears on everything I do, if I open my voice menu and try to click on a command, nothing happens, then the game doesn't respond to my controls at all, then 5 secs or so it'll just do everything I pressed before with extreme lag and it says the command I pressed, then it fires the whole clip empty, unless I tap mouse 1 again. When I open the console or the chat window, the text comes with lag and it doesn't even register some key pushes. I also tend to warp when this happens. And the scariest part of this all, it happens in single player too. Now I can't play the game at all, it happens all the time. One thing that I noticed that without any patches, the lag was shorter.
I've tried everything reinstalled all drivers, turned antivirus off while playing, deleting the Battlefield 2 folder in My Documents, re-installed the game, tried without patch and patched again.
The fps doesn't drop, bots run around like nothing's wrong. I've tried with different resolutions and video settings, but the problem doesn't go away. BF is the only game this happens in and I'm getting real frustrated about it.
It cannot be a mouse or keyboard issue, because everything works great until entering in-game.
I would love this game, if it wasn't endless troubleshooting, problem after problem.
And btw the game worked just fine few days ago, one thing it could be is the 81.85 nVidia drivers, but I also played with them smoothly for few days. I'll try my best to find the solution myself. But if you have any ideas, please post here.
