Getting some back...
Last night I played Gulf of Oman; choosing USMC Medic. I was on the carrier waiting for a jet to respawn, while I ran around dropping medpacks and mucking about, this MEC jet constantly bombed all the players waiting for the BlackHawks to respawn.
This guy was raking in the kills, probably about 4 each run. I decided to end his fun right there by jumping into the Chaingun/Rocket mount and waited, soon enough he came back for more and I began to tear through him with the chain gun, to his luck he bailed just before I blew the jet from the sky. He fell into the ocean about 50 meters from our boat spawn area.
Knowing he could do further damage, I hopped out of the Turret and jumped into the freshly spawned attack helicopter. I took off and flew right beneath the carrier, turned the heli around and parked at the back. I could see the MEC swimming toward the boats, that's when I unleashed Hellfire and Fury; rockets after rockets hit him. Even after his corpse was lifeless in the water, I proceeded to pummle the MEC out of him... Boy was this satisfying.
