Re: Expansion pack?
Why don't we stop buying all Dice/EA products so they can stop making Battlefield games for us. Those rat bastards keep taking all our free time and annoying us and stuff! We should all be playing the original DooM and stuff like that! This new stuff is the suxxors. Back in the olden days, games never had bugs! Dice/EA is rubbish!Comment

Re: Expansion pack?
I'll have to agree with you on the old games, they wern't that buggy, cause they were simple and fun. Now games require 750,000+ lines of code, and there moving 2 fast for there own good. I'm trusting EA/DICE one last time, and if this Special Forces EXP. Sucks, then I'll never buy anything made by them again, just like ATI...Originally posted by MachineGunDaveWhy don't we stop buying all Dice/EA products so they can stop making Battlefield games for us. edit: Also, you do not buy stuff before you know what the hell it is you are buying, and then blame the company that made whatever it is you bought.
edit2: Because thats like driving over a friendly AT-mine and the punishing.Comment

No, the other companies buy the GPU's and then put them together.Originally posted by HackerX4Well, ATI manufactured the GPU AND Provided the technology for other companys to use, so yeah...ATI does really make all there cards...
Making cards != Selling GPS's and technology
Thats the way I see it.Comment

Re: Expansion pack?
ATI has nothing to do with it.
ATI provides his technology, and others like dice has to write there software to fit this technology.
there are some standards used like shadermodels and stuff, and ATI can provide support and patches for things like this, but the main responsibility is withing the gamedevelopers , they have to make that there game works on certain vid cards and not the other way aroundComment

Hey, it's ok. One day when this guy is eating turnips that he grew in a hut that he built in the middle of nowhere...we'll all be enjoying our luxuries because we didn't decide to boycott ever product in the world because there was some sort of problem with it.Comment

Do you not even see the uses and implications of a boycott? If not, don't say anything about them.Originally posted by yzfwvHey, it's ok. And Special Forces is supposedly coming out in November. It's probably the first thing EA will have gotten right in terms of release dates as it means them actually getting money. But I wouldn't suggest pre-ordering, or even buying for a couple of weeks at least (or at all). I expect another buggy product.Comment
