The USS Essex is the name of the ship, are you talking about the AA gun on it?

with a cooperating MEC force maybe but I got mine at the AA turret @ the Hotel as MEC on Oman.

We owned the whole map and I was commanding so hangin out at the turret seemed logical. I would see when a bad guy was coming on the radar scan, stop commanding, shoot the guy down then go back to commanding.

Also got my Vet Command Badge the same round so quite a cool round.

Essex is very vulnerable to good pilots IMO and good chance some other jockey wants to play too.

Oman is a good choice because of the 3 AA turrets in the middle. The pilots can't be sure who it is and there's 3 to choose from.

Obviously read up on AA tips too.
