How well will this run BF2?

I just ordered a computer with these specs:
AMD Athlon 64 3400+ Processor 2.4Ghz
1.5 GB DDR SDRAM
ATI Radeon X800XL PCIE with 256 MB RAM
200GB HD
Just wondering how well this will play BF2.

Pretty well, you should be able to run at high settings no problem.

what kind of settings can i expect to set them at.

Medium/High for both, probably medium textures with high on everything else, maybe 4x AA. It varies for every system though.

Like the guy said, medium/high with textures at medium, bump up the ram to 1.5 or 2gb and you'll probably be able to go high on almost everything including textures.

Medium/High for both, probably medium textures with high on everything else, maybe 4x AA. It varies for every system though.

I believe it will run SWEET!!!
I recently purchased a:
PIV 3.4 GHz
2 GB of RAM
GeForce 7800 GTX 256 MB

and BF2 runs insanely smooth on
- 1920x(something I don't remember)
- All settings on their maximum
- Anti-aliasing on 4X

It NEVER glitches, not even when flying a jet over exploding groups of vehicles while I'm firing off missiles and people on the ground go into a smoke grenade-frenzy...

I'm telling ya, you're in for quite a ride...

And by the way, AMD processors (from what I hear) are even better for playing games than Intels (like mine)...

thanks u guys this helps me alot so i know now that ill have a pretty decent system better then my fricken x300se.but yea any of u guys have xfire maybe we can play sometime.

It'll run the game juist fine.....Med/High, 2xAA, depends on the resolution you want to run at.

umm..is there any special needs that i should have for this x800pro i mean i only have a 300 watt psu but i mean on newegg it says that a 300 watt or higher is recommended will this do fine or am i going to need to fork out a lil more cash to use it.

and by the way i ordered my x800pro should be here by saturday hope!!

Probably will need a better PSU, the 300w is going to push it, especially with your Athlon64.

the x800pro will probalb yuse 300watts ON ITS OWN get at least a 400watt PSU with plenty of rails.

well i guess i will find out either tommorrow or saturday whether or not i should indeed get a better psu or not but ive been looking at this one,an it seems to be a pretty good buy.

and by rails what exactly do u mean get plent of rails.I just figured id buy this an hook everything up.ive never delt with a psu before so i dont know anything about them.can u tell me if this would be a god buy.
