Driver Assist Points

How exactly do you get them?
Last night I was driving in an FAV with one guy on the gun, another guy wanted a ride so I picked him up -- You Got A Driver Assist Point -- I don't get it, for 300+ hours of play and I only got 900 something assist points...
What exactly do you gotta do to get 'em?

if a passenger in a vehicle you are driving/piloting uses a special skill (heal/rearm/repair) to get a point, you get a point too.

hmmm... so why then before 1.03 I remember flying blackhawks, with people repairing, resupplying, healing and killing I wasn't getting any driver assist points?

No, driver assist pts are when passengers kill sb in say APC of heli. Dont think its for special skill use.

Driver ability points...errrrrrr. i think its a time related thing, but im ope to being very wrong here. Sb clarify I need em for a medal.

When a passenger in your car gets a point for healing, resupplying, or repairing something, then you get a point.

Driver ability points are when you are driving and use a speacil skill(heal/repair/resupply)

Oh right. Thanks for answering this for me. I was wondering. So its nothing to do with the flying or driving you're doing!!! Man, I'd get loads of driving into trees points!!!!!
