Edit ending sounds?

Hi..

I wondered, if it's even possible to edit round ending sounds? I did it in Moh:AA , so would be cool imo if I could do it in BF2 too.

Have been searching around, with no luck.

Any1 knows, where they are?

The sounds are located in common_client.zip, extract the whole zip to a folder, replace the sounds you want, then re-zip the whole directory and place it in your mod folder.

haha thats the basic knowledge for modders
you cannot even open up a simple file like gamelogicinit.con, press space,
backspace and save the file without being kicked after verifying client data.

but what i dont understand why do they have to check the audio files, i dont believe u can cheat with modified audio files? i just dont get it. my advise would be to put them out i a seperate folder like they did with the movie files.

now see theres where your wrong.... they can make louder noises such as there own recording saying atv atv atv or tank tank tank for the tank engine sounds and such

you can do tht yes - but you would not be able to play on pub servers i cant believe the first poster didnt mention this lol....

How retarded do you have to be to not understand what a tank sounds like. Althought i had a brain wave, would it be possible to uninstall the game, reinstall and then edit the files ( i want to swap the american default voices with the SAS ones) and have the same amount of mb as before.. would that work??

No this wont work because the Soundfiles are in Common_client.zip.
When you change this file the MD5 sum will be different and then you will get kicked at the end of the verifying client data thing.

Its not that easy as it was in Bf42/V
