Cant find install folder

I downloaded 1.03 and now it says that "cant find install folder". whats up with that??? Can anyone plz help.

That probably means that the patch can't find the registry items needed to install.
If you look in registry (regedit.exe) at:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Battlefield 2]

there should be a string value i right window called InstallDir with path to where you installed.
If there isn't you can right-click in the right window and create a new string value called InstallDir with the path to your bf2 game installation, e.g. C:\GAMES\BF2


If this doesn't work I suggest you uninstall and reinstall to get the entries back.

Depending on how much of the BF2 registry items are missing or messed up you mght not be able to uninstall, so this will have to be manually.
