CTD's, blurred text and system crashes...
i recently have had a couple of major problems with BF2 i can only think of one thing that may have caused this.
Defragging my C:\
after defragging the game worked perfectly, however i went out for 3-4 days and thus did not use the ame at all in that time.
When i got back, i loaded up the games, went to the XTRA server (84.244.131.44:16567) and flew around, then the game changed so i could see
1.trees in black and white
2.outline of horizon +trees
3.buildings under map
i could not see
1.buidlings ontop of map
2.the ground
3.other vehicles manned or not.
naturally i died. then the system crashed.
i reset PC and did a system restore to a point beyond the defrag.
left the game till next morning
came on loaded up the game went onto a server and the text on the squad menu was blurred....
i reinstalled the game and the patch1.03
when patching it came up with
error:patching failed
or something along those lines.
now when i load the game it crashes when i click on any of the icons at the top.
HELP!!!
