Helicopter Service Ribbon query

It says you have to be in a chopper for 15 minutes to gain the Helicopter Service Ribbon does this mean 15 mins straight or in total, the reason I ask is because I was in a chopper last night for 14 mins 55 secs straight then got shot down I was not happy .

Ouch, bad luck mate!

You can exit and enter the choppers as much as you want, it doesn't have to be 15 minutes in the same chopper :)

doesnt this ribbon also require 19 kills.... dont forget them :)

15 mins cumulative during the round, could be 3 stretches of 5 mins each...

thats right. The best way to do it is be the gunner. I didnt get mine till i was in the chopper for 22mins and had 25 kills

definately gunner, MI-28 is good for this, pwn some infantry with that nade launcher. 1200 kills and counting, mostly fly, havent hit 19 yet Had many a gunner hit 20-40 though, so it can happen, just gun like mad with a good pilot..

More importantly; How do you know it was exactly 14:55 ?

I say go pilot route and pick a big map w/ a few players so there's more for you; like a 20 slot server playing a 32 or 64 map. MEC gunner on Sharqi w/ a pilot who doesn't mind hovering will get it done as well.

Lol, looking at the timer and not the missile heading your way!!

I got mine by sharing the flying and gunning with another guy on Oman. We racked quite a few kills and spent most of the round in the helicopter.

Got mine in BH on Mashtuur on my own. NOT WHORING!!!!! I landed the BH on the roof opposite the central Mosque flag (not the one everyone snipes from - over the square across the road) and had a great view of the mosque and next flag (with the tank). Bingo!!!

Sure, we know you hit the chronograph on your calculator watch now come on, be honest.



I would focus less on getting it and just fly choppers til you do. If you really want it then again large maps w/ few players and I'd say lots of armor and space like Zatar. Keep in mind you want 19 kills out of 200 so 32 player team means 6 per player whereas 10 on team means 20 per and that's just if you're average. Kubra's a good choice too.

I shared a chopper today on Wake as MEC and I had 18 kills and my gunner had 40 over about 4 long runs. He got gold w/ about 110 points too. It was all missiles and some guns on infantry.

Nothing like hitting a full chopper and no one has a clue to bail out.....just BAM !!!!!
