      Are you sure you weren't using Good Performance in the nVidia drivers when getting 4300, because when you install new drivers the setting is set to Quality.

      And I also think that there is nothing wrong with the drivers.

          The 81.85 drivers caused fog errors in Karkland on my BFG 5900 Ultra. The drivers actually improved performance, wish I could use them but Karkland was difficult to play with the fog disappearing and reappearing. Back to 77.77 drivers.

            No problems with fog in Karkand on my 6800GT. People with older 5XXX models may experience problems and I certainly wouldn't recommend upgrading to every new driver release while using an older chipset.
