I have been experiancing some problems with battlefield 2 lately. My problem is that all the noises in the game are high pitched and cartoonish sounding. This is the guns, the vehicles, the voice overs, etc...... All help is much appreaciated.

I have an Audigy 2 soundcard with the latest drivers all the noises in the game were fine untill my brother played on his account, then they were all high pitched?Originally Posted by DakotaDoc64

Sounds like something got messed up in your audio config. Check your config and see what it says. Mess with it and see if you can fix it that way. If that doesn't work. Uninstall the audio drivers and reinstall.Originally posted by Mr_NebComment

I finnally fixed it. I replaced my sound.con file in "C:....mods/bf2/settings" with my backed up version of the file and voila, fixed
. I have not tested my brothers account yet, just mine

hey that happened with me in bf1942 lol it was funny coz when ever i shot someone they made a noise that sounded like it was a cartoon.
all i had to do was go into the sound options and turn the sound quality up and it sounded non-cartoonish.Comment
