How do you speak to the commander if your squad leader and vice versa? I read the manual but cant find anything in there?

I rea dit, was 10% useful.

Why doesnt some one here write a better one, Im sure alot of people woudl be happy about it, maybe we coudl all chime in when tips and such then combien it to make a manual of sorts.

I remember when games didn't have manuals...and getting a game meant harassing the kid at the local library to let you copy it. Copy a: hehe...do they still make A drives?

remember xeroxing all the sierra game manuals cause you needed them foir copy protection back then? speaking of that -- remember the sierra hintbooks that you had to use that little red plastic thingy to read them

Yeah i did while having a crap, got confused after and almost wiped my bottom with it, as the toilet paper had more info on it than the manual

Learned that commander points are based on your team points and the correct ports to open up on my router.

Who needs manuals anymore? If games follow the example of Battlefield 2, the reason for a manual will be eliminated except to drive up the cost of production. No learning curves in BF2, why bother trying to show you something when either there's really nothing to have to learn, or you have really useless and annoying messages for everything from shooting to crouching to picking your nose in the game, and you CAN'T TOGGLE IT OFF. Manuals are pointless, I learn more by jumping into the game and just starting to play.

So much of the game is common sense or that silly voice starts and tells you what you can do at the moment, in that spot. The rest I pick up along the way.

I always read the manual, when installing the game I read it

I did this too. When I was finished I had to wait 10 minutes for the installer to finnish though...

I found the manual very useful indeed, only because it had the CD code at the back!
