BF2 needs more ways to communitcate with teamates using headphones.

This has probably been brought up before, but I'm hoping the people from EA/Dice will read it.
BF2 needs more ways to communicate with other teamates with headphones.

    - Be able to communicate with those in your vehicle. Then members in the same vehicle could discuss things, such where the vehicle is going, approaching enemies and enemy fire, etc...

    - Be able to comunicate with those near you. Then you could warn people of approaching enemies, health or supply kits, tell them to wait for you to get in their vehicle. etc... I can't tell you how many times someone not in my squad near me has gotten in a vehicle and taken off and left me sitting there with no way to let them know I want a ride.

All you would need is a couple other key assingments that would be assigned just for the above mentioned uses.

    What do you guys think?

    Thanks,
    G

I think an 'in vehicle' voice chat would be a nice feature.

Works for me - let me know when they announce it will be implemented in BF6.

I used my head phones once but my little sister was in the room and people kept saying all the curse words there were so from that day on I turned VOIP off.

Proximity voice is in BF2:modern Combat for the XBOX so why can't we have it.

                  It was also in UT2k4.

Yeah, a nice 'shout' feature where only those in the immediate area around you can hear what you say would be nice.

not only that, but if you're chatting with your squadmates, those in your vicinity should be able to hear you, as well. in real life, if a person is chatting on a walkie-talkie/whatever, those on the other end hear them as well as those sitting right next to them. would be more realistic.

and yes, vehicle chatting is a must.
