2 for each - no matter what it is. I never put the 2 in the exact same spot - I space them out at least a couple inches and I have never not blown up an asset that had 2 packs on it.
I've also noticed lately that if a supply crate is next to an asset and you don't put c4 on it, once you blow the asset and even manage to destroy the crate from the blast it will repair it just enough to be functional. I never noticed this before the patch but I've seen it several times lately.
