good morning ladies,

after this weekend I almost kicked myself for not getting a headset sooner, the game is completely different when you can talk to people live -- people actually get things accomplished, squads are informed the commander never gets any TKs -- GO BUY A HEADSET EVERYONE -- besides who can say no to winning 5 rounds in a row?

It does make the game more complete with headset and I must say more fun as you can organise and laugh at people doing silly things.

What I would like to see is a button to chat to other squad leaders, I think that would be great.

but when your in a helo as a gunner, joined the squad from the Pilot and Press B and say: "incoming AA from left, MOVE" and a 12yo-voice answers: WHAT? your better gonna switch the server

Yeah... The ears went out on my old pooptronics audio .90. So now I'm using sony earbuds under them and still using the mic. heh...

I'd buy a new headset but I don't like any of the ones on the market right now really, not even the famous sennheisers. I'd like to see them come out with something a little more low-profile like a small/sleek earbuds style headset with a thin-wire style mic. I'm bored with the big clunky ones that are broken easy. Maybe something wireless would be nice too.

More chicks!! to my surprise I have seen more chicks playing recently, but they don't talk on voip, probably in fear of being pestered by 32 girl staved geeks and a few 12 years olds.

actually i was playing with a chick last night -- she was awesome, always played as engineer, kept my assets alive -- she was on VOIP, she was pretty funny too

in my experience I found out that most people DO have headsets but just dont use them, last night I was playing on Oman, started out giving orders over VOIP, soon thereafter everybody was chiming in

i got a labtec one for 15 bucks (american) at CompUSA -- its small, not too bulky, sturdy and the mic is pretty clear -- i had a logitech, a 20 dollar one, it ended up being tossed across the room then stomped on a couple of times cause it sucked. (sorry dont know the model names of the headsets)

I use the one that came with socom for PS2, logitech usb type.

Take it one step further. I use the Zallman 5.1 surround sound headphones. Oh man, the game is unbelievable with them.
