how are some drivers better?

i have a fx5200. should i keep my drivers updated as nvidia releases them, cuz a lot of the new ones helps video cards like the 7800 gtx and stuff and im not sure if having those drivers will help/worsen my game performance...if so..what are hte best drivers for 5200?

I would recommend updating them to the latest version. Most drivers will resolve issues in games, as well as tweak performance. Basically if something is being rendered incorrectly it will be fixed thus boosting performance.
