What should I do? When I try to join a server a messege comes up and says CD key is not valid. Any ideas? The only thing I did before this was restore my computer back to an earlier date and then restore it back today (10-23)

I'll bump this because I have the same problem. I just patched BF2 to 1.03 and updated punkbuster.
I think this problem has to do with punkbuster but people that had this problem got rid of it after they updated punkbuster but I got it after I updated..

Use the Search function here on forum and search for invalid and set search option to Search Titles Only instead of the default Search Entire PostsComment
