2 serious problems, will never be fixed

Problem 1: Since the patch 1.03..., im still crap at BF2, promises from EA/Dice to sort it out have dissapointed me. I'll never be "t3h 1337 G4m0r" bring out a 1.04 patch pleeease

Problem 2: Everyone else seems to be better than me!.., i would suggest a request to EA/Dice to reset everyone elses stats but mine, that way for one glorious moment i will be bf2 king!

Cummon EA/Dice help a sad git and bring my patch out

BTW just as an adder... has anyone noticed that ranked server play recently has been somewhat "better" than it was (before 1.03) in regards to the smaktard factor?.

hell, if anything it's gotten worse in the last few weeks.

But i am in a competing clan, and used to practicing and all that working as a team. Then i go to a pub server and 4 people on the team are working together, but the other 25 are retards.

I can't tell you how many times i've been running a squad, get to a flag, 2 enemies show up. I kill one of them, and get killed. Only to discover that my "teammates" were too scared of getting a death to help out.

Bunch of ****tards. Also, i've noticed more people doing the C4 on jeep stunt. Only they kill themselves all the time too. But don't realize they are losing more points than they are gaining.

Hrrmmm maybe its the servers (uk mainly) ive been going in lately then i dunno, ive found that squad work seems to have stepped up a gear and more people are willing to stick together to achieve a goal.

i thought it was just me, but yeah i think more ppl are playing in teams. i think ppl are just getting better at the game not so much the patch..

how long does it take to notice team work = wins and noramly big scores

Do not forget that too many kids are now playing FEAR and Call of Duty 2 and Age of Empires III and Quake 4. They left bf2 for ever I guess. just out of curiousity, after the release of those four games, I checked the stats of some of the guys who have insane scores and some of them definitly are not playing anymore.

Also after the patch, the ranks are not that important anymore. get 8000 points and you will have most of the weapons you like. those who spent for ever to get those weapons got pi$$ed off and started to hate the game.

the guns didnt add much to the game for myself but considering the great majority of ppl are casual players the rank changes were for the best i reckon.. but no need to start a thread on that, squads rock.

many games are good. But there are times when 4-5 rounds in a row you get screwed by your idiot teammates. I'll shoot you so i can take the plane.

Whoops, forgot, i can't fly with my thumb up my ass. Oh well. I'll keep doing it.

I've certainly noticed this. Otherwise I haven't seen much difference.

I know what ya mean. Once I had a good squad that worked together but when a huge firefight broke out they would RUN!! and I would kill a couple and the get blasted by 6 more.
