WTF is up with the UAV in the patch?

Did they phuck with it because it no longer picks out all the bad guys in the uav area ! or is it just me getting owned by hacks

Been wondering the same thing. Sitting under the UAV taking a flag...no annoying 'beeps'...and then dead from up close. I've also seen some fishy spawning take place where it appears a baddy spawns on a flag his team doesn't own (no squad leader around, I'm watching the entire area). Wondering if this might have something to do with it.

I wont be surprised if there is a hack like that one. If you visit a crappy website like msxsecurity.com you will find that there are all types of hackes and cheats for this game. The problem is that punkbuster is not able to detect their cheats although they existed since the demo days. I am afraid that pb will never be able to detect those cheats.

Those guys use code morphing so every downloaded hack is different from the other "similar" hacks with the other users. It sucks!

And you know what! those guys sell the hacks and make money out of this game by making it $hitty for all of us who do not cheat.

^unfortunately you will find people like this in every game you play. Just be happy it isn't that bad or prevalent

Yup seen this too, enemy spawning on friendly flags, and no there was no squadleader around...

I was commander last night, zoomed in on a flag been attacked by my team

UAV up and running, and one enemy suddenly appeared out of nowhere next to the flag (which was neutral). This I saw twice

I was thinking maybe I got it wrong, but after seeing this thread I am re-evaluating that conclusion.

This site had its moments of fame on this website when they made a sticky post a while ago for one of its downloads. It turned out later that that download had a spyware in it and they obviously fooled the whole community. When you go to their website they talk as if some of their "tools" are somehow endorsed by totalbf2.com

I am probably the last one to know it. but it is known more than what you may think. However, I agree that I was not supposed to mention its name anyway.

If you were looking to cheat or want to know what kind of cheats there are for sheer curiosity you could do a simple google search and that site will pop up. I know I did that search a week ago just to get an idea of what cheats there are out there...

Ive seen this since the demo.. enemies knife you while youre
apparently in a clear zone..

When I have asked players why they didnt show up on radar, they
say they are spec ops and spec ops arent supposed to show up..
Is this true?

Anyhow.. I have been killed by AT rockets from people who have snuck up
on me when the uav showed all clear.. and I have been on servers where
suspiciously 2 or more clannies were totally invisible on uav, but the
rest of the enemies showed up..

I have suspected this being a hack since the demo...
