Joining Custom map servers help

Guy`s i cant join a custom map ,i cant even see them in BF2 ingame list no matter what filter i press and refresh .also i have all seeing eye and yes i can see them but cant join because it loads bf2 then goes to log on scrren then forgets what it is doing once logged on:cry: ,or if i load bf2 log on then atl-tab back to seeing eye then try to join it just tries to load bf2 again(all ready loaded) then just dies trying to load ontop again.
I have gamearena also but cant see and non-bf2 original maps there so i can play some ov these great map packs.Guys i feel like a noob am i doing it wrong or wrong order?or what any help would be greatly appreciated

also any heads up to when we are going to see some aftermarket mod`s released like poe?i would have thought they would be out now (they can patch later):hmm: the problems/glitches out later,must be soon before bf3 hehe

Cumbersome, but you could try writing down the IPs from ASE and joining manualy.

thanxs mate 1 day later lol everyone looked but u the 1 to help does anyone use all seeing eye and can this be used or does someone have a program 2 see them and join-load the custom maps?u would think you could see them in the bf2 multiplayer server list maybe ea can patch this of use a filter or smthing ,unless im the only one who can get the custom maps to show up on my list i mean i got about 1 or 2 servers or are people not hosting the custom maps?
