There's no need to resort to suicide... Play MEC on Karkand. Go south of the first flag, place 1xC4 in the corrugated fence area, 1xC4 in the alley on the wall facing the garbage bin, get someone to watch your back and go prone behind the bin... The suicidal frontal attacks the USMC love usually result in several kills. Once that flag is inevitably taken, stand on the enterable building behind and drop C4 down onto passing troops, vehicles or spawning US troops. This combined with throwing C4 over the wall whilst the US is taking the flag should result in the necessary 15 kills to get the badge. This worked for me at the third attempt.

If you ask me the best map is Fushe Pass for EO Badge.
Enemies are almost always in an APC/Tank.

There are vehicles evrywhere on that map and its easy to spawn near a car for Jihad Jeep tactics.

Thats how I got mine anyway.

ah yes the C4 conundrum.. To jihad or not to jihad. terrible in real life, terrible in bf2. But you have to to get the vet badge - 23 kills?!!! I blame EA for making us do it. Bad EA!!

i find the funniest thing to do is plant c4 on the enemy fighter jets, hide somewhere, go get a drink, come back and BOOM, usually resulting in a few people screaming WTF?!?!?!? over the com while you sit there with a cheesy grin on your face i got my basic explosives badge on gulf of oman as mec by planting it on the deck of the carrier, waiting a while and after my team had taken all the other flags...BOOM 10kills at 1ce!!! :laugh:

yeh, whenever i try and throw c4 at ppl and detonate it, it always changes back to c4 and i end up killing myself and no one else.

Yeah, C4 is probably the most messed up weapon in the game...air power is broken, but C4 is just retarded.

Hopefully someone will mod it to something more balanced?

a good way to get loads of Explosive kills is playing Sniper on the Karkand Frontline.

Just dash to the front with a Claymore in hand, and jump-toss it right into the enemys. (best places are the alley just before the flag, or the 2 small square areas)

Of course this only works perfect when the US dont have a forward flag yet.


The advantage of Claymores is, that you have NO Pack/trigger switching bug, AND they WILL explode even if youre dead, since they are self triggered.
Also 90% of the claymore will blow up more then 1 enemy at a time.
(blame the karkand bottleneck mapdesign :P )


i made ~ 60 kills in one round that way.

God who can you play with that stupid prick NASTIE_BUTLER hes been blackhawk horing since the game came out. Why do you think he is 6th in the world? Cause all he does is helicoptes whore or sit there, wait for the blackhawk to spawn and if someone else takes the blackhawk he tks them and flys off. Congrats on getting your badge honestly though.

LOL - must try that, i like sitting in the back of a blackhawk and randomly drop claymores at people, death from above!! :evil: - or if u bail out really high over a flag just get nades out n drop a few, tends to get a few kills :p
