    One hit wonders

Look I dont claim to be the best player. I do have 6000 points I am a staff sargent. I would call myself an ok player I usualy get about 20 kills per round. My problem is the one hit wonders. I will give you an example I was playing as support full health. A special opps runs at me with an m4 he fires 2 shots that were aimed at my chest I die instantly. This has happend alot on many maps where some one going prone in mid jump would kill me in one shot which is impossible because one need time to aim and less than a second is not enough time. I was just wondering if anyone had thesame experience and what to do about it. One more thing that I noticed is that these one hit wonders are usualy claners 90 percent of the time.

      Two reasons more than likely:

1.) Lag, will cause shots to look impossible at times, ( like shooting in mid-air/half proning, etc.)

2.) Skill, if you can master the art of firing off quick accurate bursts, while keeping the crosshair on the upper body, the enemy will go down much quicker. (this is where former Counter-Strike gaming experience comes in handy )

How do you know they were aimed at your chest?

Actually, less than one second is plenty of time to aim, it's called fast reflexes.

Correction, they're lucky, I've killed people with the pistol while running around them like a rabid dog with it's tail on fire. It's all luck.

There's no skill involved in bouncing around and shooting at people.

It's quite possible i use the sniper for mid range as well as long range, even from a meter of 10 i get headshots with it. PLaying alot of 135% speed UT2004 instantgib with shockrifles really pays off in FPS games.

It's a matter of skill mostly, or just plain luck...

If you need 1 second to aim you deserve to die.

Up close it's pretty much luck a lot of the time. Bullets will spray and get on your head or something.

But from far away it's definetly skill.

I did not say I need one second to aim. I said they aimed in less then one second in mid jump going prone. No one needs one second while standing but when going prone it might be close to one second to reaquire your target.

I agree, many times I would have G3 and armor, upclose someone comes at me with an L85A1, the gun with the worst spread, and kills me instantly when i even shot off more rounds into the guy.

Sometimes guns just dont work. I have been no more than 5 feet away from a guy and shot 4 times with a DAO-12, all shots hit but he didnt die. Utter ********.

I have also been killed by someone who was infront of me walking with his back towards me, shooting, many times.
