After blowing a asset put a c4 on it wait for the engineer then blow it taking out the engineer for 2 and getting an extra 1

Yes you can. It happened to me.

But why waste C4 on infantry???

Human sacrifice. I have done it to squad members on occassion. There was a flag with about 6 guys inside the fence on Mashtuur, loaded up my buddy and sent him in.

meh, most of the time the enemy Commander'll simply drop a supply crate next to his assets. Still, it gives you a chance to re-arm and take out the other stuff =D

i've never tried it...but if it works, think of this....you are a squad leader...you are spec ops...you throw some c4 on a squad mate and they charge into battle, kill what they can and die in glory...if this works correctly...the c4 might still be attached to their rag doll body, and you could detonate and kill those guys around the body. Its just an idea...i used to do this in older games with my friends where they would throw c4 on me, i'd charge in, die, and they would detonate killing those i didnt kill. It was a good tactic, but i don't believe you can throw c4 on a person in bf2...i'll try it sometime

Yeah you can put c4 on people =D once, I was runnin around killin people and I come to a enemy engineer camping, putting down land mines when somthing blows his up. So i place a couple c4 on his back, and wait for him to run up to them again (there were a few more people around there) so he runs up there, i detonate, he dies, the other few people die, all the landmines blow up =D

hmm and here I was thinking that was something that got removed with 1.02.. did it get re-introduced then? Or are we talking about the demo here or something?

C4 placment on people has never worked for me.
I spent a good deal of time trying to toss C4 straight up and "catch" it on myself... never got it to stick.
