Yep, we have our own ranked server now!
You'll find the PoE devs playing there a lot as well as alot of the mod community, server was just set up a few mins ago so give it time to populate.

Server is running all maps on a single round rotation with a maximum time limit of 45 mins to help those drawn out battles to finish.

Nice, what are the rules? How many slots? what maps, many admins online?

I think its insane that servers can cost almost 200 dollars a month. That is plain ridiculous. Well i hope you made it a good one with only good maps. If there are Chinese levels (excluding Wake) than i will not play on it.

Well, i loaded and it was on Dalian plant so i immediatly Alt F4'ed out of the game. I will not play unless you make it 24/7 Karkand, Wake and Mashtuur. Then you will get alot of people to play on it!

for sum reason everytime i try to connect to a i.p adress it gives me a message saying you have failed to connect, please check your network connections..... my internet works fine and everything with that is ok so why would it be doing that??? does anyone know how to fix this problem/??

Have you ever noticed that half the entire BF2 servers are on Wake at anytime? Before that came out, it was Karkand. Those are the 2 most popular maps for the majority of people.

yay just got 23 points Plane whoring on this server !! was in DP's squad till he became commander

never tked either, thought ran straight past a guy wh was there first, butm did not TK for a plane (only on bomb drops sometimes.....)

yea I went commander when I got annoyed that our corrent one wasn't doing anything, then I realised that there wasn't one so I filled the slot.

The server is currently 32 player slots and it filled up pretty much immediately and is still full now.
Server is running all maps on a single round, time limit is 45 minutes.
I'll be playing here a lot as will some other devs/testers but it is currently running stock BF2 with all the ranking turned on.
I have changed the welcome message of the server to include rules.
They are:

Welcome to PoE's Ranked Server! - www.pointofexistence.com
Expect an exciting announcement from PoE in the coming months.
Admins: DrunkenPirate, Jilted, Ziggy, Greasy_Mullet and [EA]Matt.
Kickban on Teamkilling, stat padding and general smacktardism.

BF2CC is running on my machine all the time but if that fails just join our IRC channel.

Server is based out of Florida and I get a ping of 100 from the UK.

I live in Florida so its low ping for me...
Im going to ban myself from the server right now!
