    Really dumb question about SLI.

    Quick and dirty.

If I have a SLI capable motherboard (ASUS A8N-SLI) but only one video card, is this going to cause problems? I'm slightly short on the cash necessary to pick up two EVGA 7800 GTX KOs at the moment, but would love to spring for one, new mobo, new chip, etc, and pick up the second 7800 GTX KO around christmas. Is this possible? Will my computer explode? Become possessed by gnomes? Gain sentience? Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

SLI boards run one card fine. Just make sure you don't set anything to make it think there's 2
