BF2 craches before the vidios start
i just gets a black screen

my computer is a

amd64 4000+
2Gb ram crossair 3200
nvidia 7800gtx from msi
asus a8n sli deluxe

i have tryed to update the video drivers so what do i do???

Try searching the forums first where you'll probably find the answer.

Sounds like a resolution issue to me.
Try starting the game with default res.
Also check your temps out as nothing cooks a system like BF2.

craches......Oh Crashes. Did you just change your video card????

Did you delete your BF2 cache?

it is a new card yeah but all the other stuff is alsow new :/ i have some buddys that have the sameproblem :/ donno how to fix it the only dude i have seen that fixed it was that he reinstalled windows :/ and i dont have the time to do that it takes so much time :/

i got the same problem too when i installed the new drivers for my ati card this started to happen

umm i just uninstalled my ati driver and ati control center and some how it like bounced back or something i dont know waht really happen cus usally when i do this it goes back to the lowest resution but for some reason it acted like i didnt uninstall the driver soooo i dont know if this will help out your nividia card but you could try the same thing. Oh on a side note my pc been restarting randomly for the past year, bad ram or somthing dunno but im too cheap to fix it sooo i dont if you should follow on what i did to my computer but hey its worht a try
