Clan Tag Change !!!!!

BIG QUESTION !!

I want to keep my buddy from starting over BF2 with a new account cause he don't want to have his Clan tag anymore since he left his clan cause of some issues.

CAN YOU REMOVE A CLAN TAG ??? His name is written like:

-XXX-XXXXXXXXX he wants to get the -XXX- removed.

PLEASE HELP AND SAFE A BATTLE BUDDY FROM STARTING BACK FROM ZERO !

You can set your Prefix tag via the global file in the Battlefield directory but you can not get rid of the first name you signed up with on your BF2 account.

He's stuck with it.

That's what I try to prevent so he does not start all the way from ZERO again, since he got 238 hrs of playtime. I have almost 300 hrs and it would really screw me over starting back from scratch !!

You can only get rid of the prefix, not your name. He is screwed.

You could take the prefix option and put in it;

Not_in

aka; Not_in-=3rd=-R()NIN

Start again, enjoy hiking up those ranks again...I had to do it when I quit my clan, even thought i had alot of points
