Team Punish Problem With MINES!!!

Hi All,

Im here to let everyone know how annoyed i am with BF2, I LOVE the game and play it EVERY day BUT!, What i want the EA team to FIX is the option to punish for a teamkill when someone drives over a CLEARLY MARKED mine on the road that i laid.


Im leaving battles at the moment with BIG minus scores because i lay some mines on the road and then a group of my team mates jump in a van and drive over it EVEN tho its clearly marked, AND THEY ALL CHOOSE TO PUNISH!!!!! so if its a full car driving over it and they punish you end up with a -24 score, and your left standing there jumping around in a huff , typing to your team mates saying " what the hell are you doing driving over mines that you can see are right there , if anyone should be punished its the DRIVER for driving over it !!!!!!"

SEE MY POINT IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO LET EA KNOW ABOUT THIS ANNOYING PROBLEM PLEASE DO.

I really think they need to do something about it in there next patch.

one thing I get sometimes and it's pretty rare but sometimes I don;t get any red crossbones on explosives, mines, clays.

could be one reason but TK's can add up pretty dang fast in this game.

I've said it before but a simple mod where any team damage simply effects the player who did it.

so if you shoot at a teammate, the damage goes against you not them. Mines would need a different thing but it would fix TK's

Well, team punish kinda ****es me off when someone does something really stupid. Like when I have a claymore setup on top of a ladder and someone gets blown up and punishes me. However, it is important to be careful of where you are placing explosives so things like this don't happen. Personally, if I get blown up by a Mine or C4 charge I don't punish because I know it was my own fault, or someone was trying to kill an enemy near me. I hate ******* who love pressing that punish button because of their own stupidity.

Seems like everyone doesn't hesitate to push the punish button, I too had the engineer and placed mines and a busload of teammates punish me because they ignore the crossbones. Makes me not want to play the Eng, I place them where our team have to go around them, what they cant do that??!! Use the "C" button to see where they are!! Got -10 on teamkills that day. If I mistakely kill teammate I quickly type "sorry about that" (because I don't know the quick button to bring up all the saying, btw what button is it?) And if I get ran over by teammate I don't punish I should be walking along the bank.

press and hold the Q key then move your mouse on what you want to say then left click it . Word of warning though dont release the Q key to fast as youll fire your weapon ive done that a couple of time while being in a tank and fired and killed teammate.

Agreed ... ... definitely too much indiscriminate punishing.

You can click same button as to spot an enemy then click over to apologize.

Nice when mines or c4 take out an enemy.
Can be tough to stop
in one of those dune buggies if racing into capture point.
If you + your team slow down to check out what's going on first that can help everybody out at times.

If you don't get a skull and cross bones then you need to turn the 3D map on by pressing ALT, i think it perfectly fair for you to be punished as you have obviously be retarded and mined across a whole road or somewhere no one can see.

Total BS, I was playing on karkand just now, I lay mines in the usually traveled spots. And a dumb ass APC shooting like crazy just drives down as was clearly marked and its not like it was in a tight spot, i put it on one side of the road, ****ing typical it drives straight into it.

I agree, If there was more people in the vehicle the driver should be punished or FOR CHRIST SAKE make friendies immune to them.

I thought it was fixed like they expload anyway but dont damage the vehicle. Guess not.

yeah i HATE the noobs who just run over mines, dont even look at the red skulls on their screen, just run ahead and kill themselves and blame their mental problem on you. shouldnt even be a problem now that you can blow up the mines and claymores with grenades.

I agree but what happens when some 'PRO flyer' wants the plane and drops one infront of you. :S DICE and EA have a problem
