The site says that the latest client version is v1.199, which came out in July, and everyone started getting this error today...

I have updated my punkbuster but it's still failing with the same message.

I've always refrained from bashing over patches etc. but this is absolutely ridiculous. You think it will be fixed on a Friday night? You think it will be fixed at a weekend? No chance. FFS I only ever play at weekends.

This sometimes feels like a little more hassle than it's worth.

Same problem with me, and i am definitely the world's most important battlefield player!!! :cry:

@responsible aliens who wrote the game: fix this corrupted file immediatly or program your game back!!!
