I have the navy cross now, but I checked my stats on regular base for knowing shure.

After playing 249h 48m as USMC I didn't had the cross , but then I played one extra round and had 250h 4m as USMC and I had the navy cross.

But there is a chance the previous requirements also count, these would be 500 wins as USMC and you need to have min 100 points in a round as USMC (not for getting the cross in a round , but global) .

Also, you do not get the cross in a round, it just apears in your BHFQ

The golden simitar and that chineese medal will be the same

Wowser less then 100 hours as both other sides, and over 250 as USA! :shock: I can't see myself ever getting these badges with unrealistic requirements, wouldnt someone that plays balanced (not just USA) have to play for longer then the #1 player to have 250 as USA??

@teaves, please remove your dam signature,
and maybe you never played CS or HL2 , but when it came out there wheren't to many bugs in, and certainly no bugs like wrong tagging,crashing, .... some minor glitches maybe, when you cisit the steamforums you will notice there aren't that meny people complaining about bugs then on BF2 forums , only thing they complain about is about tweaks they want (weapons and crap) .

For the rest you have many steam updates, but most oif them are just little tweaks to the code, and also they have submitted many maps in updates and give a very big suport to the mod comunity.

About the coming soon and it takes forever, OK, butI did not say anything about that.

My point was, as I said, the game didn't had so many bugs as BF2 , this is just a fact, but they did give us a lot of patches. EA/DICE braugt to us a game full of bugs and some very big ones, but they don't give us the patches we ask for

rombaft is right...the bugs werent actually very bad just people got annoyed over nothing cos they expected source to be a straight port of 1.6...
everything had changed and they complained...when you look at bf2 and HL2 youll realise that the prior is much more catered for (and more regularly) than the latter

ROFL, got to love the fan boys (both HL and BF2) Thanks Rombaft you have given me a great laugh, i thought it was only the Valve staff in denial not the users as well. Just for your reference there are over half a million complaint posts in the steam forums, and seeing as there isnt that many TOTAL in here i think you just lost your own argument :laugh:

Finally someone else that realises how unreasonable all the whiners are, you said it yourself the bugs IN BF2 are all so minor its just people (babies) getting annoyed for the sake of it. Numbers speak for themsleves, CS:S and BF2 have a very similar numbers of players online together, in all but the biggest weekend peaks. In contrast though the DoD release (a direct competitior of BF2) basically died 2 days after "launch" and now has less players then BF1942 most of the time ROFLMAO

Good question :laugh: Its old, and i wouldnt normally bump a week old thread like that, BUT i had a PM off the topic starter with some very strange text so i reposted for some clarity. This makes it more confusing tho i see now, as some of my reply is from the PM.

As i see it, this thread is mainly about

1) Playing excessive time as USCM to get a medal (or avoid the BH more likely)

2) how buggy HL2 is and by direct comparison how UN-buggy BF2 is.

3) bassically the usual from there, people seemingly not understanding how PC games work and the compatibilty issues they face coding for tens of millions of hardward/software config. More importantly that ANY "bug" in BF2 is in every other game as well. They can of course be easilly fixed but whining is much easier for people like rombaft

the steamforums are fll of twats tbh...the only good guys are in the ahrdware forums...

the rest of them complained because as i said css turned out different to what they expected..they anticipated 1.6 style shooting when it doesnt have that and they all complained because their crappy 1.6 pcs couldnt run this shiny new game...the complaints were made by idiots that complained about problems that didnt even exist...
if people learned how to config their server and not play on a 33tick then they would have no problems...compared to bf2 and EA valve did a much better job...
