Question regarding prone jump??

Hi everybody,

I've been reading these forums for awhile now and thought I'd pipe in. I've been playing a little over 2 and 1/2 weeks and there is one thing that is driving me crazy. This "prone hop", I've seen it maybe 3-4 times now were someone is laying prone and I shoot them in the back and then pop up while still being prone turn around and land back on the ground in the prone position and then shoot me?? Seems fairly lame to me but I'm just want to know if anyone else has seen/done this. Is this some kind of crazy bind? This is my first post so no need to flame.

It's being done all over.

It drives me absolutely nuts.

The problem with it is you retain the accuracy bonus of being prone while at the same time you're more difficult to hit because your silhouette is smaller and you're moving.

I think it's absolutely lame.

I still think they should introduce a 'no shooting while jumping' fix in the same way you cannot shoot while sprinting.

Somebody posted a prone jumping video around here somewhere that really showed how unfair (and ridiculous) it is.

Thank God! I'm not the only one tick about it.

The thing that really kills me is I've had a sniper do it to me with his scope still up!

I do it when I'm getting spawncamped and have been killed over & over. Last night on Wake a squad w/support continually threw grenades where I was spawning - not trying to cap, just blowing up spawners. Finally I spawned in a different spot as assault, and prone-jumped into the midst of them (there were 4 I think) and proceeded to noobtube them.

Other than those kind of circumstances, I very rarely do it.

Lol, i cant even do it while shooting.

The ppl without no skill do it after they have passed the n00b t00b "rank".

No macros for me... spacebar jump and mousewheel button prone.

In french we call it "La loutre" which mean the otter. I do it sometimes.. But when I have 1 magazine left and 3-4 soldiers around me...

Now I know I'm not good enough to have an ego but I can shoot straight and my k/d ratio is a little over 1to1 for the killside but I just can't stand it with it should be a kill and they pull that crap out and I die.
