I guess he was camping the enemy base and placed the c4 before the chopper was in use, it happens quite often. Personally i find it a very boring tactic but thats just my opinion, ppl seem do do anything to get their badges and without special tactics for it some killratios are almost impossible to meet.

Why not? it's only 23 kills, maybe he killed 3 blackhawk wich should get u about 14 kills, then kills some loaded hummers. It's quite possible, i actually saw my friend doing it once...

partly, for about half the game we were chasing the BH/ bombing the pad, the rest of the time we were hitting ground targets.

No way in hell he got the expert Explosives badge by doing that though.

ummm yes I did, I had 44 C4 kills at the end of the round :)

I love taking out chopper with C4. I know it ****es the pilots off. Planting it on flag poles or light poles up high, putting it on trees, etc. Works great. On Wake, sneak up behind the Chinese transport chopper from the beach and plant the C4 -- let the guy take off, get into the air, he's all feeling good about himself and BAM. Also, put C4 on the landing pad so when they come back to repair, you get the picture.

C4 kills are probably the most satisfying ones. It's great to sneak into the enemy base, put two charges on the transport helo, hide and wait. And blow them when they're some distance away from the base, not immediately after take off. Makes them more confident before you kill and gives you the chance of them not understanding what has happened -> kill right after take off = obvious to everyone that there's a hostile SpecOp at the base.

On Dragon Valley (I think, or was it Songhua) the USMC base is very tight, with the commander assets as well as a Blackhawk and land vehicle spawns. A specops guy can give the USMC a lot of trouble there by blowing up choppers with people, pausing to blow up the UAV trailer and then blowing a vehicle again. Of course, a support guy or a supply crate work wonders to keep the C4 in sufficient amounts.
