HALO base capture against superior enemy forces

So we're squad #7, MEC, and we're trying to take the Blackhawk's helicopter pad flag in Mastuur.

Our squad leader, Support, is hoving above the spawn in the flying cow just outside of AA range. We spawn on him and then HALO to the flag below.

A SpecOps guy is throwing C4 down and blowing them killing the occational enemy or two (it takes the C4 so long to drop that sometimes he blows them in mid air).

Anyhoo the Blackhawk is circling the base and killing us each time we're on the flag or try to get upto the AA gun, plus there's a couple in the HUMVEE shooting us as we parachute in.

So this is what we did. Instead of a HALO we moved off the base and paraglided horizontally into the base. This way as we fell to the ground we could shoot at the enemy; I took out the HUMVEE with an AT rocket at least twice that 10-minute exchange. With this technique we took down the enemy Blackhawk twice.

So while the 4 of us kept about 10 enemy occupied at that flag, induding the Blackhawk the rest of our team took all the other flags.

That was fun.

how high was the cow anyway, cuz ive had a helo at about 250 before and i ended up getting shot down by AA, and no one would jump out until we exploded.

thats pretty nifyt was this a group of friends, voip or what iv only had been with a squad that showed this much team work three times and once was with the demo

Remember doing this in BF:V with the NVA spawn chopper, had a pilot just hover above the last US base for about 150 tickets or so, we just kept spawning and HALOing in.....so much fun. Was wondering if anybody else every did that....hope I can get into a squad like that sometime on BF2.
