ok here's something that bothers me ..

i fly a lot ... and sometimes i come across a few people who are really good. i accept that. But then there are those who are REALLY REALLY REALLY good .. now no way is that possible - they dont use missiles AT ALL .. just guns and no matter how much u manouver they get u in less than 5 seconds - i kid u not! i mean i know some who use guns but it takes them some time before they shoot u down, but these "pro's" do it in a matter of seconds ... how the hell is that possible????? hax? dont tell me they are really really good .. coz im no amateur myself, and i can differentiate between people's skills. anyone ever experienced these "pro's" before?

Yes i have, but im not he worlds best flyer but im not so bad that i crash when trying too bomb something, lol.

ive often used guns on ground troops successfully and indeed in a dog fight situation but it takes a while, and i must admit ive not known anyone shooting at my jet with guns doing it as quickly as you say.

Why is it people use the hax term for someone that does something better?
He may just be a deicated flyer and have a perfect control setup.

I did that ONCE on oman...
There was this no-skill-at-all pilot and i just flyed behind him at shot him down. He didnt even notice the missile warning, LOL

Yes but the fact that some of these pilots can outperform J-10s in F-15s simply with the guns has to raise some suspicion...

Why is it that people just have a problem if someone really is BETTER than them? If you work it out right, and spend lots of time practising, I am sure you can pull it off...I know personally that it is a lot easier to fly with a joystick etc...so maybe that is all that is different...

Ive had to start directly quoting people on everything becouse some people seem to take what ive typed out of context when its not aimed at them.

I had this happen to me a couple of weeks ago... Flying an Su30 straight and level rearming over the airstrip on Daqing Oilfields. It took an F18 pilot approximately 2 seconds to reduce me from full health to an exploding heap of metal. I didn't even have time to consider bailing out. I rarely use missiles, and can can take out a jet in a few seconds with guns only, but 2 seconds seemed a bit ridiculous. I put it down to some lag thing going on.

I tend to fly with the bomb reticle on, as oposed to the missile, when I am lining up for gun shots. That way they get no warning before I start to shoot them. Often times even the gun doing damage is not noticed as they are busy on the flying and waiting to hear a missile warning where there is none.

Could be the same thing, Unless you are sitting there watching your armr/life indicator the whole time flying. While I will not rule it out, i seriously doubt it is a hack.

Because in the online world, people honestly think they are better than they really are. It's as if the Internet provides a shroud of delusion.

first of all, 3 sec hit on any jet with the canon kills it
second, shooting the cockpit kils the jet in 1 sec
third, its not exactly hard to aim at the cockpit when you are "level bombing" (lets not get into how dumb level bombing is in the first place)
four, Its not exactly hard for a J10 to outturn a JSF and shoot it while you think you are turning the tightest possble turn

and five, there are simply people better than you, everyone thinks they are good, even those who cant bomb on target claim "hey but I can fly good".
missiles are the last thing any good pilot will use to kil another jet, skill in this case, if you dont undertand, is not be able to fly for longer than 1 min without crash, not bombing on target and reload successfully, but to be able to aim the gun, figure out how much you have to aim ahead / above for it to hit and how stable can you keep your jet for your guns to work.

remember, there are always people better than you, and there are a lot of people better than you if you suck.

Guess what im one of the people you hate. All i do is shoot at there engones and when they turn or loop w/e i shoot just a bit ahead of then and they dead. It never takes more than 10 seconds
