Wow someone whining over a 150mb patch, now i've seen it all.

Not that there is anything worth downloading in that 150mb patch but come on, unless you're on a 56kb modem why the whining.

I was under the impression that this community existed to HELP others, not berate them.

hmm, is that a standard action for every provider?

a lot of UK providers started out years ago by offering unlimited 56k access and never realised that people would just connect and leave it connected for weeks. They were forced to disconnect people just to free up slots for others that couldn't connect to the service.

I have no idea if it's still the same but I doubt it as ADSL has taken over a large % of the market.

I can understand how it gets (the world is full of smacktards) but you can simply just not help them. You don't have to slam a person in order to not help them - you simply have to not reply.

ok 1000mb limit ehh can this be increased.
And for downloading use mozilla not Internet Explorer.

But if you cannot spare the big download have a company ship it to you. EA is not the only company that releases patches of that size, most game companies do this so this is perfectly normal. You are just an unfortunate customer that has a download limit and slow internet connection.

I wish good luck to you on getting the patch. It is well worth the wait.

1GB a month!? I would do that in a DAY without even thinking about it.
175MB is fairly small for a patch actually, for a game as complex as this anyway.

About the 56k thing, when I was on56k I could stay conencted for as long as I wanted, sometimes weeks.
