Blood patches wont work on ranked servers. Sad but true.

Just pretend that grey puff cloud that comes out of people's faces when shot or knifed is blood.

Thats nice, too bad I never play on unranked servers.

No blood in a FPS... bs! damn those impressionable kids that all seems to have!

Ya i wanna see some blood. If i made this game once you killed a enemy they would be in a puddle of blood, and it would stay there for some time.

hmm if its a 'blood patch' and you got it from gamecopyworld you do know that its probably not a patch? Its far more likely to be a replacement .exe that enables blood and also allows you too play without a CD which will get you PB banned.

Just FYI, when you're all dusty and dirty (Like you would be in Iraq), if you were to get shot you actually would release puffs of dust from the impact. So besides the more gruesome grenade/artillery deaths, I think the dust is a very realistic effect. Bloody uniforms could be appropriate, if not a little on the graphic side.

The Tactical War? Mod has blood.
It is kinda strange seeing it in the game.

Just an FYI for you, ITS A FREAKING WAR! What you talking about 'on the graphic side'. IMO, they should have as much blood as CS:S. Sure it would have pushed it up to probably an M rating. Would have been better.

Want blood play F.E.A.R. plenty of it there. Besides maybe FH2 or POE2 will have blood puffs since their servers will be unranked.

Why are you yelling at me? Easy buddy, maybe you need to sit down for a while, let the drugs take affect. Blood isnt always appropriate in games. Sometimes it will add to the experience if its a tangible part of the game like say, Mortal Kombat. BF2 just doesnt need it, and if nothing else, it keeps whiny extremists like Jack Thompson off our backs.

Well, in RL (lol) when you get shot blood usualy doesn't spu everywhere as in css. It would be a little cloud of dust especialy in the desert as mentioned above. Depending on the size of the shell and how many times you get hit there just won't be that much blood. 1 ak round to your chest woudln't show any signs of blood. They have armor about 2 to 3 layers of clothing and whatnot so no there wouldn't be tons like in gay ass css.

Now taking a tank round to the chest I would like to see globs yes globs of body parts flung across the screen. Get blown up by C4 and you lose limbs. Take a 50 cal round to the head and it's gone, stuff like that would be nice.

                              SOF2 style!!
I've always dreamt of this in the BF-series... Shame we don't see any - maybe a creative mod team will implement something like this? Would be sweet!
