Well... when you have a monitor that doubles up as a tv all you have to do is bring up the picture in picture of your favorite channel and watch that for a few seconds as you wait to respawn.

lol i dont have to do that the mrs is in the background watching her soaps most of the time when im playing so if im bored i glance over every now and again. LMAO ive not watched eastenders in years but becouse the mrs watches it in the background i know exacterly whats going on.

actaully taking deaths and multiplying by 15 secounds would be an UNDERestimate. this is because some times youll be waiting to respawn and youll get revived. since it doesnt count as a death you dont use it in your multiplication, however its still seconds lost by just staring up at the sky.

isn't total spwan time just your total deaths x 15 seconds ??

Its easier to take your total gaming time - total time using all kits

I'm addicted too, I'm shocked when I look at how many hours I've played, and I don't even play that often.

I've got 43:41 time in kit, out of 45:28 total. That means 1:46 spent respawning or 4% of my total time.

How is this easier than multiplying your deaths by 15? If you use your formula, you have to first add all your kits times - an extra 6 steps.

Nope.
Check tour stats a bf2s.com and take the total ammount played with the kits. Im sure you will find the "Total" under the kits' name.

Posting how many hours you've spent is pretty pointless, since we've all played for a different amount of time. A percentage would be more telling. Thus far we have...

There is also additional "respawning" time, other than the 15 seconds, that make the deaths x 15 seconds an underestimate.

- It has already been mentioned there is additional time when a medic revives you, as this does not count as a death.

- If you have no control points to spawn at, you may be waiting several minutes for "that sniper" to realise and go capture a flag.

- Similarly, if you deselect your spawn point and go AFK, this is additional time that you have technically spent respawning.

On the other hand, I believe it take a second or two for you to drop your kit after being killed. Notice how it take a little while before you are able to swap with a downed person's kit?
I think this may actually make my method an underestimate as well.

Hmmm, I think when my respawn time hits 24 hours, I might have to take a day off playing Battlefield.... maybe. :laugh:

lol BF2 is no where near as bad as cs, you will literally spend about half your time "playing" cs waiting for the next round. People who play heaps of cs since it came out 6 years ago have probably spent up to hundreds of hours waiting to respawn. Now THAT is sad
