I know this is probably old hat to people but overclocking your card marginally may help out quite a bit.
Bascially using atitool I moved my memory speed up to 360 from 337 on a 9800 pro 128mb. Just overclocking the memory helped out alot more than I expected.
I also tried overclocking the core using the atitool from 380 default, I was able to get 412 without errors with default memory.
Decided to stick with 409/360 and the game plays alot better...
I generally run the game with renderer.drawFPS 1 from time to time.
My fps went from high 50's to low 70's with the core and memory o/c'ed...
I think it might be time to increase my graphics settings again.
Can anyone comment on decent heatsink replacements for the 9800 pro 128mb with the R360 core and a2 memory.
