aspire x-navigator case

i am currently considering buying the aspire x-navigator case

but i have been told it is really loud, well i was wondering if i could just buy quiter fans for it considering i really like the look of this case, and also the 2 back fans r for intake, can i buy fans for intake? which kind of quite fans should i buy i was thinking about thermal take as in the look cool and they r quite

I personally have this case. Its not that loud. The only loud thing that is on my pc is when I first fire up PC my WD Raptor gets a bit loud.

If you are use to very quit PC cases, then I guess you will notice some noise. You can replace a few fans if you wish, but I didn't really find it necessary. I like the exhaust fan on the side. THat 120mm fan blows like a mofo. Its still not that loud though.

Be careful with if you are changing out the color panels. I broke my door off by accident..lol Oh well.. it still looks cool and I can still pop the door on if I really want it on.

BTW, The side of the case is easy as hell to take on and off, so I was very impressed by that :)

im fairly sure that this is the wrong forum for this question but.

this is the case that i have:

its not too flashy, its elegant, and nice looking. but since im running a water cooling system. its silent.

but any case that has more than 3 or so stock fans, is going to be alittle loud. and since it has a transparent side panel, you cant use foam to quiet it down. i dont know about silent case fans.... you can check em out.

well i want the one with the black color panel which color does it come with on? cause i dont plane on changing the panel if it comes with the black one on

from the pictures of the case, i count 5 fans on it, without the inside components.

1 side fan
1 psu fan
2 exhaust fans
1 front fan

and when the pc is assembled, IF you dont get water cooling, youre going to have.

1 cpu fan
1 video card fan

7 fans

plus the hd, and media drives. it may get alittle loud i would say.

Ya it comes with the black panel on and you will find the blue and silver also. You just have to be a bit more patient than I was when I was changing it out. BTW, the PS that comes with the case is plenty. I have yet to have a problem with mine. I have the below specs.

get it!!! lol i have this fan with my new comp and i have 10 fns total including MB fan VC fan and CPU fan (7 o case itself)
and there are 2 heat sensor things and mine read 29 and 20 celcius 24/7. its awesome

well i know my stuff will be cool but i would sacrifice heat for silence, the only reaosn i really want this case is for the looks, my second choice would be a thermaltake case, they r quieter

I have this case and I love it. It's a little loud, sounds like a jet engine spooling up whenever I first wake up in the mornings and everything is real quiet, but it's not that bad. I have the blue one, btw.

yes you can but its only loud if you put the fans all the way up
