What do you think if we can throw our knives at an enemy and kill him, just like using a grenade. Do you see what I mean? Maybe, in the coming expansion pack.

Knife throw dates back to old school games like golden eye, they need it so you can throw your knife for a 1 hit kill but then you lose the knife unless you get one off a body or the one you threw.....wont ever happen though....Comment

Well with the classes and the fact that I was speculating how if at all this would ever happen that really would be hard for them to put in as a weapon. Would be very cool to have servers that have nothing but knife throwing though

would be cool if you could throw the knife and then had to use your fists afterwards. Imagine watch someone brawling with a guy over who's jet is who's. Or do the Chron. of Riddick - Butcher Bay thing and make it so if you are close enough you can grab the gun and make the guy blow his own head off... hehe.Comment

yea. i thought that would be a cool idea. i mean damn its like your running and then bam dead and some guy runs over your body to pull out his knife. I think that spec ops should prolly be the only one to use it. just because i dont think that the average soldier is an expert knife thrower.Comment

I have found this NZ board's ppl being more innovative than TotalBf2.com. They gave if I may, sh*t feedback.
This idea came to my mind due to a bitter experience. And it was quite a singular one. In CoD, you always get close encounters while in BF1942 and now BF2 you rarely do. It was this time, 2 nights age, a chap came very cose to me as I turned around, he melee'd me by my face(i guess), then he shot me in the head. So I was history. After that, correlations came to me. When we get into close encounters, our mind naturally turns to knives. And I thought, had this guy got a flying knife, he would have throw it at me while I was still or stationery. Of course, knives are hardly guided, so if your target moves, you knife is gonna to miss.
But I like that idea, it's realistic that way. Arnold Schwarzenegger did that in Predator I, remember?Comment
