Basic commander badge

I just need a few badges to get all my basic ones, just been trying for basic commander, I read that you need 40 points in a round.

Just played three rounds, 1st 65 points 2nd 61 points and 3rd 55 points, still havn't got the badge any reason for this?

I think it's 40 points before the double. Not positve, though.

It has to be 40 points BEFORE the 2x bonus is applied.

use lots of supply drops, squad orders, etc, to get the points up. Its not hard to do. I managed to do it w/o even trying.

oh this is easy. i got it by getting 32 points before the 2x and just play 15 mins as commander

You will NOT get points for that....

Your points are the average points of your team.
e.g there are 3 ppl in your team, one is you, one has 0 points and one has 100 points. then you will have 50 points, not less, not more.

Sometimes you will get a prime number as your score. Dont ask me how, it just happens.

Also, I believe that points you get yourself, i.e. your own flag caps, kills, etc. don't count towards this. It's only command points.

Sometimes you will get a prime number as your score. Dont ask me how, it just happens.

btw...the guy who said it's an average of team score is right... 40 points before x2, THIS DOESN'T INCLUDE TK's. So if you get 32 points, and 2 unpunished TK's..you still get it...

just join a 64 karkand server with less than 20 ppl then watch tv. come back 30 mins. later and you'll have over 40 pts.

65/2 = 32.5 & 32.5 !> 40
61/2 = 30.5 & 30.5 !> 40
55/2 = 27.5 & 27.5 !> 40

wow your team must love you as commander.....not. Then again you wouldnt know anything about teamwork would you. AT least TRY to command

ok... for the <Insert ridiculus high number here> time.... when you are commander :

-- You will NOT get points for kils you make with arty, knifes, guns, nades, punches, throwing rocks or anything else

-- You will NOT get points from anything remotely resembling resupply, repair, medic, giving out phone numbers for cute nurses, wheter its by your kit or a supply crate

-- You will NOT get points for anything remotely resembling flag caps, flag assist, selling automobiles, flying, driving, svimming, lovemaking or anything else.

-- The ONLY thing you WILL get points for is your teams score. which is calculated as follows :

old commander score = X
number of active players at a given time = Y
Score made by Y at a given time = Z

New commander score = X + Z/Y


IF you have points not achived from commanding you will have had them BEFORE or AFTER your are commander (in the same round offcourse)

I stand corrected. I wasnt aware that this was how the commander score was determined. I had always thought that it was based on how the commander performed during the mission.
