My sentiments exactly.Originally posted by peekjThe point was that he wanted to know what stat padding is... pretty obvious, no?
What's the point of posting "what's the point of this thread"?

Re: Stat Padding?
I did use the search button before, but too many threads came up. It was more convenient for me to just ask.

Re: Stat Padding?
stat padding is when a couple of ****heads get together and feed eachother.
example - 1 Support soldier and 1 or more other soldiers: soldiers fire their weapons at nothing and support drops ammo.. getting himself free resupply points
example - Medic heals or revives fellow soldier/s after a "friendly" enemy shoots wounded/dead soldier repeatedly
example- vehicle sits in water far enough to do damage to it - person sits in driver seat so the vehicle is actually in use, and an engineer sits in the back wrenching away at it.. getting repair points...
its usually done with clans for the most part.. where they all know eachother and all that.. just scumbuckets.

Supposedly, with that message EA released with 1.03, they're supposed to be cracking down on this.
In actuality, I wouldn't be surprised if the note itself was really their only hopes of a deterrent.

I have had that done to me. What I did was drop a grenade. If you dont have any grenades then quit the game.

Re: Stat Padding?
Another form of stat padding is the knife and pistol. Where a whole server goes as medics and just use knives and pistols and revive people when they are injured. The games can last ages since no one is capping flags.

Its funny when noobs like this poster tell people to search because they are too lazy to tell them and then link to a search that returns no results. It never ceases to amaze me.Originally posted by xpnl
